Marshall Health Network to offer free drive-thru flu shot clinics

Marshall Health Network (MHN) will offer free drive-thru flu vaccination clinics on Saturday, Sept. 12, for adults and adolescents ages 16 and older at locations in Huntington and Hurricane.
The clinics will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, or while supplies last, at the following locations:
Huntington
St. Mary’s Center for Education
2853 5th Ave.
Huntington, WV
Hurricane
St. Mary’s Family Care – Hurricane
47 Willow Tree Way
Hurricane, WV
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge. No appointment or insurance card is required.
Individuals with egg allergies should receive their flu vaccination from their primary care provider. Children younger than 16 should receive their flu vaccine from their pediatrician.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend an annual flu vaccination for everyone six months and older, as the flu vaccine is the best way to protect against flu and its potentially serious complications.
